Mubarak : A True Kling-On

As per my first blog. See what I mean?  Wild horses won't be able to unseat this thug. Take your stolen(?) 74 billion and go. Saudi Arabia, Cyprus, Spain, wherever they will take you just pack your bags, and leave. Like Ramses I, he will not budge. Scourges of biblical proportions won't release the people from the tight fist-ed grip of this man, his military, his government. Is Hosni's ego so large that he actually believes his people are so immature the country will collapse in disarray without his guidance and domination? The longer he Klings-on to power the worse the economic, social and political situation will become. His stubborn, unfettered grasp on power will destroy his country and his people.
Although support from likewise dictators and oligarchs from other Middle East countries provide him with the kind of support he now seeks such only prolongs and increases the chaos, disarray and discontent of his people while selfishness and greed allows him to remain oblivious to their desire for freedom. What will it take to convince his resignation? As long as others continue to encourage his relentless attempts to maintain authority and control - he will never resign. That fact is obvious. What will the people have to do to regain their dignity, self-respect and restore Egypt economically, politically and socially? Perhaps if they had stood up together long ago their situation would not have deteriorated to an almost irreversible state of hopelessness.
That they have joined together and are receiving moral support from millions of people worldwide there exists a modicum of hope for a better future. If Mubarak and his entrenched gang, who enjoy the benefits associated with 'hailing the dictator', can be overthrown by the people before the situation reduces to a violent and bloody revolution, a new day will dawn for Egypt and the entire Middle East. As I am just one voice amongst millions I add my full support and congratulations to the people of Egypt. America, you have been duped by the dictator who has carried out torture, rendition and suppression of many people including his own citizens to ensure the continuation of billions of dollars in aid from the U.S.A.. This aid, which is given under the guise of 'feeding and educating the Egyptian people' is instead  the pay-off for selling out the Palestinian people and has ensured the protection of Israel for too many years. The status quo may now be in jeopardy.
That Saudi Arabia has offered to replace American aid to the tune of 5 billion dollars per year is a virtual checkmate of the once strong relationship long enjoyed between America and Egypt. In fact, it is an offer that benefits the continuation of the 'House of Saud' and provides an imagined buffer between the royal family and its inevitable demise as the desire for democracy will eventually grow among the Saudi people as well. Modernization, communication and education will create the foundations required to plant the seeds of freedom throughout the entire Middle East. It is about time! With the unavoidable will come the reduction in the effects and power religion has upon the people as the need for freedom and development will evolve quickly.
The abused and the most discontented will rise demanding equality, humanity and the destruction of regressive and brutal regimes. There is no question Asia will follow. In many ways America, its behaviours and its hypocritical practices are to thank. As the rest of the world develops America regresses. As the neo-conservatives and their growing strength increases throughout the country taking political, economic, social and religious power and control through the Christian and ultra-right movements America will  no longer be the 'home of the free'. The pendulum swings endlessly from left to right. Americans, wake up and smell the coffee before it is too late.
If anyone thinks the dictators of the world today are rigid and entrenched in their positions just wait because a revolution of nuclear proportions will not be strong enough to dethrown a self-annointed Christian Right-Wing Neo-con Republican and his cronies once they have assumed the power and control so desperately desired. If you think other religious regimes are stubborn and determined to Kling-on there will be no such comparison in man's history. Even the fascism of the 1930's and 1940's won't hold a candle to what is coming if America doesn't quickly reverse that swing. One need only familiarize oneself with man's past for the obvious to becomes abundantly clear. Remember King George and the reasons for the 'Revolution'? Well, now is the time to stop, think and take action or else it will be too late. Surely, there are a few willing and  intelligent rebels left in America. Or else, the 4 horsemen  may be the only pleasant alternative!
