Hawwkstar Has Returned

Well, much has happened during my March hiatus. The 'ides' prevented normal communication. It occured to me that great destruction, violence, civil war, death and seeming despair have ruled the airwaves for the duration. Yet, Charlie Sheen and a royal wedding remain the most watched, the most popular: why? Could it be we are loosing our humanity, our levels of concentration and our ability to cope with reality? Or, are we so self-concerned, so out-of-the-human-loop and so arrogant only the ridiculous and the meaningless gains our attention. Millions of people living in a very rigid, politically immature and democratically starved region of our planet are loosing their lives in a desperate yet united fight for freedom.
Where is the media? Why are we not able to watch non-stop coverage of the Muslim world as it struggles toward re-birth? These historical events are remarkable and the speed at which it is spreading is an indication of just how much alike we all are. No-one, not Muslim, not Hindu, not Jew, not Wicca, not Christain wants the persecution of dictatorial rule. As human beings we desire the same freedoms, we need the same spiritual, physical, emotional, psychological and physical nourishment and we divide ourselves by religions, by finances and by power.
Perhaps we should all just stop - stop now! Of that which divides much more unites us and it is time to set aside the hatreds of the past and the neverending religious fueds that have plagued mankind since 'organization' began. Humanity walks a fine line between manmade enialiation and a remote chance to continue but, under circumstances foreign to most. It is conceivable that our apathy as responsible caretakers for the planet, our mother, our provider will solidify our demise. Those who believe  'the end days' are upon us have lost hope and those who jump toward a 'rapture' are not being very realistic.
Until humanity apologizes and corrects its many wrongs in action and practice there will be no imaginary life everlasting filled with streets paved with gold or the arrival of 70 vestil virgins or a celestial realm to continue onward in. It is clear, when you break something - you own it. We have broken the planet, we have allowed our humanity to be splintered and we have allowed greed and currency to symbolize progress. Those who have acquired through greed and currency have failed in their obligation to share and be honest. Those who are elected to represent betray their people, their commitment and their missions as established by the nature of public office.
There is no, one answer, there are no heroes and there is little time. We all are duty bound as sentient beings to unite in thought, purpose, and action. Mother Nature is getting angrier by the minute, the skies, the planets, the universe have reached their limit and appear unwilling to tollerate any more. If each of us inside do not change quickly, the raven will tap no more.
